Circulation:
The earlier eighty-eight issues, dated July 1953 to April 1962, were distributed to the Armed Forces, US Military Advisory Group in R.O.C. and R.O.C. embassies and consulates in foreign countries. It had been a black and white pictorial magazine sized sixteen-mo since the very beginning of publication. The color, size and page number had been through many changes. Chromatic pictures existed in '62 issue. Color started replacing the black and white the following years. Since October '94 all pages have been in full color. The size changed four times, from sixteen-mo to octavo, separately at January '62, '85, '94 and 2001. Along with these alterations, page numbers changed the original sixty-four to one hundred and eight at January '85, and one hundred finally at 2001. The time had seen more changes in the editorial policy. While working hard to maintain lifelike, moving and touching in style, editors turned the magazine into a comprehensive full-colored pictorial. The up-to-date edition is news reporting, artistic and informative.
